HELPERS – WHY OUR HELPERS ARE THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY – There is a difference:
  •  EXTENSIVE TRAINING - We are fortunate to have Julia Spring as our Educator and creator of our training program.  Julia has taken her 30 years of critical care and medical flight knowledge to create a program specific to Preferred Travel Helpers.  Our Helpers learn about Flight Physiology,   correct lifting techniques, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques, dehydration issues, body physiology, international travelling issues, CDC recommendations, travelers with disabilities, rights of travelers, and receive certification in CPR.  Most importantly our Helpers are not only trained professionals, but we never lose our perspective about who we are assisting, and that we truly care about our clients.
  • EMPLOYEES NOT INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS - Since some companies utilize independent contractor, day labourers’, or even just themselves.  All of our Helpers at Preferred Travel Helpers are employees of the company, which means we pay for workers compensation insurance carry errors and omissions insurance, as well as general liability insurance so you or your client will not have to worry about any of those issues.   Also, as employees we can control the training process and insure that the traveller gets the quality of service they deserve.
  • BACKGROUND & SCREENING PROCESS - We utilize a very sophisticated independent third party screening system that checks motor vehicle records, court records as well as the national sex offenders register.  Our background searches include multi states and aliases as part of our hiring process.  Last but not least, applicants complete a detailed profile and go through a rigorous interview process.
  • TRUST - We value our Helpers as employees and consider them to be part of our growing family, building long term relationships built on trust.
